You can now have a peep at my drawings on Instagram and Facebook. I'll probably post more bits on those accounts than on here in the future.
Also, a quick update...
I'm in Switzerland on a residency until the end of the month- doing lots of painting for an upcoming art fair.
While I'm here I've decided to set myself a bit of a challenge: a drawing a day that sums up the day's events. It doesn't sound like a very big challenge, but with trying to pursue my artistic/ painting career, [have I ever mentioned that before?], it kind of is.
I'm not so good at setting time aside for one thing or another. But I've realised, sometimes things get quite intense in the studio and I need a bit of time to step back- not take everything, [or myself], too seriously.
I'll be posting my daily sketches on Instagram [@kiyara.guu]. Perhaps I'll make them all into a little comicstrip/ book eventually... we'll see.
